What is Bisme Radio?

Bisme Radio (BR) is the only online 24/7 station which caters for the Tamil speaking Indian Muslims around the world. BR plays Azan (call to prayers) according to wherever the listener is based, songs, talks, sermons, Qur’an recitals and live talk shows.”

How can I listen to Bisme Radio?

Bisme Islamic Radio is available on both Android and ios platforms. You can download the application from the app store here or Google Play Store here. It is also available at www.bismeradio.com website.

What is the purpose of Bisme Radio?

The objective of Bisme Radio is to provide Islamic education, knowledge and guidance based on the Quran and Sunnah to all age groups. With constant effort in providing carefully vetted quality programs, we aim to attract listenership gradually over the years. Our Radio has been a strong advocate of moderate Islam while emphasizing on inter-faith tolerance and religious cohesion. 

Why am i not hearing anything after the download?

Please ensure that the operating system of your phone is updated to the latest version. If you are not using an updated version, you may not be able to hear or the application may appear unusually large or distorted on your screen at times.

Why is it in Tamil only?

There are no such free services available for the Tamil speaking Muslim communities worldwide. In addition, Tamil Muslim communities are increasing in numbers; both in population as well as challenges and as such, such a service is extremely necessary in these current times.

We have started our Radio service in Malayalam in Jan 2025 and we are also planning to launch our service in English very soon, Insha Allah…

How can i request for songs or suggest programs to Bisme Radio?

We welcome feedback and also good Islamic content audio materials. All content given will be screened by an independent team and is subject to approval. Do ensure that the content / source you provide is not violating online radio or copyright laws. Bisme Radio has all the rights to reject any material which may be deemed offensive or irrelevant at its sole discretion.

Why is the app not switching to call interface when there is an incoming call?

To ensure that the app stops and switches to the incoming call and that it doesn’t continue playing while you are on a call, please check your phone app settings;

Settings  –>  Apps  –>  Select Bisme App  –>  Permissions  –>  Phone  –>  Enable
